    Both of the albums on this CD are old favorites of mine. I like every song, especially "Gone Hollywood", "Love On Fire", "Great White Line", "The Way You Broke My Heart", "Let Me Stay With You Tonight" and Restless". Not too heavy, not too light...just right. A++

    I purchased "American Excess" on LP when it first came out. This group, which was discovered by Bill Ham of ZZ Top fame rocks! It does tend to date it'self as an '80s sound, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Tracks which I especially liked:
    2. "Walk Across The Fire"
    3. "Nicole"
    9. "Do It All Night"
    10. "On A Roll"
    "Nicole" and "On A Roll" recieved some fairly descent airplay in Houston.

    I love this CD. Nicole is a great song. Bubba Keith=A+

    I went to high school with Bubba Keith who wrote Nicole. He is an awesome song writer and an even better singer. This is a great Southern Rock CD. Vicki

    Its nice that Cd's are now coming out as doubles as far as 2-lp sets on one or even a double Cd. I always liked the American Excess Lp, as far as on a roll, it didn't have the same song strength to it. But Bubba Keith is was a good singer, as he proved in the seventies with the James Gang. I still beieve Point Blanks best Lp was there 1st one with the shotgun barrells pointed at you.

    This is a double CD...American Excess is the best of the two, with the 80's radio hit "Nicole", and many other great rockers!!! On a Roll,however,is a bomb with the exception of the song "On a Roll"...But since the two CDs are combined it will have to do...Still Great Rock!!!
