While the lineup here is stellar and includes vocalists Sting, Joss Stone, and Mick Hucknall (Simply Red), and guitarists Joe Perry (Aerosmith) and Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), among others, the album is at its best when it allows Paul to shine in an instrumental setting, as on the slinky rendition of Duke Ellington's "Caravan" and the funky "69 Freedom Special."

Fun guitar rock

Created: 09/04/10
If you don't like to read, just read this: This is a fucking great CD.

Anyone who enjoys guitar rock will enjoy this one. I'll be honest I don't appreciate every singer on this CD, but the guitar work is excellent. They got a bunch of dinosaurs on board like Billy Gibbons, Joe Perry, Keith Richards, Buddy Guy, Clapton and more.

Much solo's and decent riffing goin' on here. It has been in my car CD player for the last few days. Great CD for on the road.

Turn it up loud!

I bought this because I wanted the Steve Miller redo of Fly Like An Eagle, but was very pleased with the whole album. Many great artist perform, and Caravan is performed by the man himself.

A few very strong tracks make this a worthy addition to your library. Overall a very appropriate tribute to a true guitar master, inventor and innovator.
