like most sequels

As you might expect, Analyze That has its moments and a pretty good cast: Billy Crystal and Robert DeNiro and Joe Viterelli, a great Mobster actor, in his last film role. What you might not expect is that the whole thing is over in 90 minutes, 96 if you count the credits.
For those who haven't heard, it is a sequel to ANALYZE THIS, with several returning characters and performers. It manages to include an awful lot of guys who look familiar from THE SOPRANOS, including Vincent Pastore, aka Big Pussy Bonpensiero. And the same schtick is still pretty funny- psychiatrist Billy Crystal trying to hang with DeNiro and his tough guy friends and then the tough guy's tender moments with his shrink. But, even without having seen the original, this film feels a little bit stretched and warmed over.
The language is predictably rough, but there is no nudity- still it deserves its R rating.
I wouldn't run out and pay a fortune for this one, but it is definitely worth the watching if you don't have anything else and worth picking up for those times when you may not.

Analyze That

The story line was interesting, though a bit hard to follow the mob family connections. Billy Crystal's acting is good, as usual. Robert DeNiro does the tough, crude comedy part pretty well, if you like that type of thing. I do not, so I couldn't rate this very high.

Analyze That - Robert DeNiro, Billy Crystal

This is a VERY ENJOYABLE, quite hilarious (at times) follow up sequel to the first movie "Analyze This". Billy Crystal is soooo funny in his role as a shrink, while Robert DeNiro depicts a perfect Italian mobster to the core!!!

One of the Craziest Combo's on the Screen

It has been quite some time since I have laughed at what some call Comedy today. Most Comedy writers today think that the only language in the US is vulgarity, and smut. This movie has a very few words that I wouldn't allow others to watch. It is hilarious, and one movie that I really have enjoyed from start to finish, without being angry for the movie being just a smut machine, or an embarrasment. It is great.

I agree that I thought that this one was even funnier that Analyze This. De Niro and Chrystal work together. Of course De Niro and anyone work together.
