And Justice for All (DVD, 2001)

This a great movie! I saw this film when it first came out in the theaters many years ago and loved it. Needed to have my own copy. It shows some of the absurd things that happen within our judicial system and the people running it, testing the moral fiber of basically honest people. Jack Warden is great as the suicidal judge. Pacino gives another beautiful performance. The music is somewhat dated as it was filmed in the mid to late 70's with that disco beat thing, but if you can get past that it is very entertaining. Christine Lahti is Pacino's love interest and also does very well in her role.

The movie was great Al Pacino is a great actor, he has many differnt sides to him. The movie addresses the problems that are great justices systems has and how some people can't handle it. Innocent people get convicted all the time, while some of the guilty people go free. Overall the movie is hands down one of my favorites.

This is one of the best films ever made. There are so many reasons that it is a great film but one that makes me watch it over again is that it is just so New York and Al Pacino is the quintessential New Yorker.

I loved the movie when it was first released and just wanted to see it again.
And it did not disappoint me, after all these years.
The acting by Al Pacino is excellent, the theme is excellent, even all these decades later.
I am glad that I bought it.

Had been years since I had seen this movie. Stellar Al Pacino performance!! First time, back then, I had seen his intensity. I was, and still am, very impressed by Pacino and this movie lent itself to his acting. Highly recommend to any Al Pacino fan.
