) I really enjoy Terry Brooks' books. I think I've read every one, and this was was great also. I wasn't sure if I would like the combination of his fantasy theme (elves, etc) with the good vs evil in modern day-future setting--but I did. I always look forward to the next edition...as I am sure all his fans do!

The final book in the trilogy. Extremely well written story that ties everything together into a spellbinding climax that kept me reading during every moment I could. Terry Brooks is a master storyteller, and this is a gripping dark fantasy from cover to cover. Knight of the Word and Running with the Demon are equally engrossing. Mr. Brooks holds nothing back. His characters are put through the paces and it is impossible to foresee where their paths will lead them, or if they will fulfill their missions, or die in the attempt, or cowardly endeavor to escape it.

I have always been into the stories of Terry Goodkind and I am coming to the end of my reading with that author and wanted to venture to a new author. terry Brooks novels take you to a far away place that lets your mind soar within his stories. If you wanted to fly to another world i would recommend you to read his books.
