I would buy a bigger screen if I didnt also have a 40" TV plugged in to my computer. But that is my only complaint about the screen.

This is an excellent monitor that can display two full pages of text, with room left over for the dock. With a resolution of 1680 by 1050 pixels, this display is perfect for any type of user looking to purchase a large scren LCD.

The display is physically smaller than the M8149 (22 inch ADC) but has the same screen resolution. It takes up less desktop space and provides a better resolution. The 20" Cinema Display is compatible with any computer that comes equipped with a DVI video interface.

This is a very good monitor from Apple. Color is excellent, but new price is way too much. Used, you can get a much better deal of course. The power supplies are terrible. There are stories all over the internet about how bad they are. Buy a used spare power adapter A1097 and keep the one in use sitting on end, so it will have better cooling surface and plug it in to a surge protector. This display works with the Radeon 4870 which my Apple Acrylic ADC 23 inch cinema did not.

I purchased this monitor a couple of months ago as an upgrade for my Mac, and to replace a lesser quality monitor. The color and image quality is excellent for my needs as a Graphic Designer. The extra USB ports on the back are a bonus, and handy for connecting digital cameras and other devices. This monitor also has a larger screen than the same-size monitor it replaced. I've used various monitors in my profession, and Apple LCD monitors were preferred in the prepress/print and design environments.

I love Apple products. Not just because they deliver style or functionality, but because they deliver BOTH! This monitor is an amazing purchase as well, as you can now locate them on eBay for around a $100 price point and they are easy to connect to any Mac computer, as well as any PC product. They are long lasting - I have purchased at least 6 of these over the years and none have stopped working or had any burned out pixels. They are quiet, gorgeous and deliver exceptional value.

I have connected this model monitor to MacBookPros, iMacs, Mac Minis, everything. Don't have a Mac computer to connect it to? Use it to stylize your nondescript PC desktop or laptop. On top of looking good, it gives you tons of working space. Set to a high resolution (double check, but mine have 1440x900), you can have two word documents side-by-side. Lots of desktop space for game playing, especially if you have two of these monitors side by side (like I do).

These also make excellent monitors for watching television, Netflix streaming or DVDs. I can't say enough good things about this monitor. The only thing I would warn you, is if you're looking to purchase one of these monitors, make sure it comes with the power brick and all the cables. No software or other connectors needed.

Bottom line, if you need an external monitor, this is the one. Take my word.
