Duck and run for cover! The shakiest gun in the west Don Knotts and hilarious funny man Tim Conway are Wild West outlaws who can't hit the broad side of a barn literally! Though they never miss an opportunity when it comes to rounding up laughs. The hilarity begins when a roving bachelor (Bill Bixby) inherits three young orphans and a wealth of problems. When the youngsters stumble upon a huge gold nugget, they must fend off every swinging greedy person in town. The kids join forces with the bumbling outlaws to stage a robbery of the gold. Little do they know a surly gang of sharpshooters plans to beat them to the punch! Jesse James watch out! CLEAN WHOLESOME FAMILY FUN ANYONE CAN WATCH THE LOL DON KNOTTS AND TIM CONWAY PLUS THE WONDERFUL HARRY MORGAN. YOU WILL GET A KICK OUT THIS G MOVIE. BILL BIXBY IS GREAT AS A BACHELOR GAMBLER WHO DOESN'T WANT TO TAKE ON THESE 3 CHILDREN THAT ARE TEMPORARILY IN HIS CARE. EVENTUALLY HE FALLS IN LOVE WITH THEM AND DUSTY. THE ODD COUPLE EVEN GET MARRIED TO HELP SAVE THE CHILDREN BUT ONLY FOR APPEARANCES SAKE AT FIRST. THEY DON'T WANT TO SEE THE KIDS GET HURT OR TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY THE GREEDY TOWN FOLK, WHO DIDN'T WANT THEM BEFORE THEY STRUCK IT RICH WITH A HUGE GOLD NUGGET. THE APPLE DUMPLING GANG TRYS TO STEAL THE NUGGET FROM THE BANK WHICH ALL ATTEMPTS FAIL. BUT OTHER VILLIANS COME INTO PLAY. IN THE END, IT'S ALL GOOD. i had watched this movie with my children on disney when they were young it's good clean comedy minus the foul lanquage of today. you can let your children and as in my case grandchildren watch it without worrying about them picking up the colorful words in alot of movies today offers, and the main actors are two of the greatest at there trade, i remember don knotts as barnie fife on andy griffith, and tim conway on Mchales navy so watch it and love it with your little ones so they can have the memories of that day.

3 siblings get sent out west when their parents die and they inherit an abandoned gold mine. A gambling bachelor is their guardian and they all get in and out of trouble through out the movie. Don Knotts and Tim Conway provide great comedy through out the movie.

This is great for the family. We enjoyed it. Highly recomended.

I remembered liking this as a kid, so I bought the DVD for our 6 and 4 year old. Both kids and adults enjoyed it. A fun western with a good mix of comedy, slapstick, adventure, and romance. Great for the family and it stands the test of time.
