) I bought it because Apple and Quicken can't seem to get along. Once I upgraded to Lion on my iMac, much to my surprise, Quicken for Mac no longer would access year's worth of financial records.
Since I have become an Apple junkie, it gave me an excuse to buy another! The older operating system is what I needed to 'dumb down' Quicken for Mac.
Even though the notebook is a little heavy compared to new ones, it serves my purposes.

I was eagerly looking to buy a macbook from apple, but the store was offering to give me the computer at no finance plan. In other words they wanted one grand up front. I was a really scare to pay hundreds of dollars to a stranger and get fooled, but I got to say this was a great buy. The computer took about 3-4 weeks to get to me. There was also a little incident with USPS(like always) getting my package sent to the wrong place but eventually i got it back.
I got the computer in its original box, with some a software ( I was suppose to get two), a battery charger, a cable (I still don't know the use of it), and a tv adaptor(coolest thing ever). well when i first open the computer, the first thing i notice that it was SUPER CLEAN, It look like it was just bought, it had nothing broken or missing, and the screen was perfectly find. There were a couple of scratches on the cover but I found it normal, being that I bought it for not even half the price for brand new macbook.
This computer works great, own for about a month now, and it has work great, supper fast connection with the internet, quite a lot of space, and was a great buy. This computer also works and runs very fast with many programs operating at the same time. One of the best purchases I have made.

Good value for the money.

Compared to buying a MAC at full price, this was a great deal. It is lightweight and the speed is pretty good, no noticeable slowdowns.

I absolutely love the MacBook! Anything I was doing on my desktop I can do on the MacBook. Love the portability and the fact that it picks up wi-fi when I am on the go. A must have for MAC lovers
