) I purchased this item to replace an HP G50 laptop.
Sure the performance specs were about the same but I am looking for reliability. The G50 is a great system but Apple has made me a convert.
The unix based operating system makes things run so much smoother. Windows 7 is great but I have been having issues of late with my PC's in the stability area. I first purchased an iPhone 4 and from there on I have been sold on the whole Apple idea.
It just works.
If you are looking for stability and general ease of operation the Mac is the way to go!
Detractors will say that Apple products are expensive and at one time I would have agreed. Now I see my time as a rare commodity and Apple products give me the ability to use my time in a productive manner, not waiting around for my PC to come back from the shop...
