) A wonderful upgrade from my '08 Macbook, I am loving the new features and ease of use of the MacBook Pro. I didn't expect to like the all-in-one trackpad without a hard button to push, but I'm finding that it's actually easier to use and has more options. The backlit keyboard in low light is also very nice, no more guessing where buttons are in the dark. The screen has beautiful resolution and color contrast, making my shows and pictures look more vibrant than they did on my camera or old computer. I also picked up an HDMI cable and adapter and love seeing my computer on my wide screen TV. :)

Not worth the cost, nice hardware, but not worth it overall ...

For $1600 I can build you 2 wuad core PCs with windows and linux dual boot or VMWare player, whatever you prefer. AND youll actually be able to see tasks, multithread stuff, control updates and packages. Apple is just such a ripoff for the amount of work they do. They maintain roughly 5-6 products (2 laptops, a desktop, iphone, ipad, and uhhhh yeah. thats it.) and still it costs a fortune. Why. Simplicity means you need it to be simple because you cannot yourself tackle a problem. All Apple products are for the computer WEAK. youd have to pay me to use one.
