Apple NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285

This card is an absolute must for all Mac Pro tower owners. If you do anything with HD video editing (even iMovie), 3d modeling or play games, the improvement to your system is just amazing. And with the CUDA engine support, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere CS5 show dramatic playback and rendering improvements. You have spent enough on your tower, this is a small upgrade cost in comparison.

Perfect upgrade for my Mac Pro dual 3.2 16 giger, blazing fast for gaming, all imaging enhanced by this incredible card. Doesn't hurt to have a Viewsonic Vx2753mh either. Great value, performance and a nice looking unit as well! I couldn't be happier, meets and exceeds all of my expectations!

The card works perfectly. It adds real power to the mac and allows the use of CUDA-enabled applications. Too bad Apple is leaving Nvidia because the power delivery is impressive via CUDA.

I have a NVIDIA card that cam with my mac pro, then I got the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 to use as my main card but I would like to use the NVIDIA as a secondary card I usually have two displays + my cintiq connected. Here's the problem the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 takes two power cables leaving none for the NVIDIA card.
But I noticed there's a cable left for a second dvd burner could I use that for my second card or can I split one of the two available for the grfx cards?

Easy to install in my mac, and my software (Apple motion and Adobe After Effects) seems happy with it. I haven't tried the CUDA features yet, but I hear it works well.
