Army of Darkness (Blu-ray Disc, 2009, Screwhead Edition; $5 Halloween Candy Cash Offer)

I have enjoyed this movie for years. Bruce Campbell is one of my favorite actors and this is one of his best works. If you like Evil Dead 1&2 this is a must have item. This really finishes the trilogy with a bang (or a fistful of boomstick) Like I said I have watched this for years but watching it on Blu Ray was a whole new experience I loved every second of it like it was my first time.

The king of cult movies, legendary B movie star Bruce Campbell is at his best in Army of Darkness. Packed full of side-splitting campy humour, and an amazing sequel to the popular cult film Evil Dead 2, this is the ultimate edition of an incredible film.

This movie is yet another sequel to the Evil Dead series. The movie does not disappoint. In an era when special effects did not involve CGI, this movie does justice to the rest of the series. The horror equivalent of a cheesball western, will keep you laughing till the very end. Outstanding performance by Mr. Campbell.
The Blu Ray looks amazing. If you have seen this film in other versions, you wont believe your eyes. Worth every penny!

Wow this Blu-ray has a VC-1 transfer and a DTS-HD-Master Audio 5.1 audio mix and man does it work. Every shotgun blast sounds great and the bass is powerful during the battle scenes. The transfer is really good but does suffer in certain spots. This is not Universal's fault, I repeat not Universals fault. This is the best that this film will EVER look period. However I must say there are almost no freatures so keep that in mind going in.

Great movie with a good looking transfer, but it lacks the special features you think would come in a special edition. It's a solid blu-ray though.
