Army of Darkness... you must Buy this movie today! It's spectacular

Army of Darkness is one of my all-time favorite Low-Budget horror films. It's B-Level Movie at it's absolute best. With a bigger budget the special effects and costumes are a lot better than the first two Evil Dead films but the element of cheese is still there.

Bruce Campbell delivers one of the best performances in cinematic history and really solidified himself as one of the Baddest Men on the Planet.

Army of Darkness is hilarious, action-packed, and a little freaky at times. Army of Darkness is a classic and it belongs in everybodies DVD collections, right next to Evil Dead 1 & 2.

Final Verdict:

5/5

Rent or Buy?: A must buy, along with Evil Dead 1 & 2.

Between the great one-liners and the crazy cool animation sequences with the skeletons and other miscellaneous special effects. All I have to say is that I hope Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell create a powerhouse together in Army of Darkness.

not what I expected

Its army of Darkness, therefore, it is inately good... but... This edition is very rough. Some of the scenes are grainy and the ending is different altogether. I cannot express the depths of my grief to not have the s-mart ending anywhere on this disk. If you want the movie for Evil Dead's sake, get a different verison, if you want it for true directors vision, this is the edition for you.

Excellent Sale of a rare DVD.

Created: 14/04/10
I used to have this back in 2001. I used to have the limited edition back on 2000 on DVD and VHS but i sold them. I was dumb and i had money problems back them. I am happy to have this again, despite the film's grainy quality. Since they used rough-cut footage to do the Director's Cut.

Thanks again. I had no problems with the DVD. Lucien.
