Jackie Truty is the president of Art Clay World USA and this country's top expert on Art Clay Silver and Gold clays. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter, she also is an excellent teacher. The first part of the book is general instruction, tips and tricks from Jackie. The remainder is a series of projects, mostly from other metal clay artists. Some of the instructions are clearer than others. All the photography is excellent - detailed and inspiring.

) i bought this book because it was the first book i ever borrowed from the library on art clay.
i love this book..its very informative & helpful..if i had had this book 2 months ago the ribbon ive been trying to make wouldve been saved..im sooo glad i OWN it now. YAY!
i liked this book better than the others i have borrowed..enuff to want to own it..its well written & i look forward to getting more books by jackie truty in particular. im teaching myself this art & id be lost without the guidance ive been finding in the books.

This book is a great book for anyone interested in Silver, Gold, or Bronze Art Clay. It contains a lot of good information and designs.

I bought this book because it looked like the "Bible" about Art Clay Silver and Gold. I looked throughout E-Bay and this book kept popping up as one of the leaders in information I needed to learn how to do the craft. It is very informative and I look forward to getting started on this type of art. It was very easy to read. You can highlight areas of interest. It was informative and yet specific.

The book has lots of great info and tips about using the clay, moulding, different products, finishing etc, but in terms of the actual projects in it, i can only say that i would make one of them, the rest are really not that appealing.
