Guy Kawasaki gives you what you need & no fluff

Created: 01/05/06
I really enjoyed the Art of the Start by Guy Kawasaki of Garage / Garage Ventures. Most small business books err on being either too high & general or too specific. The Art of the Start sits between those two ends - giving readers with the start-up bug enough advice between the ideation process and the capitalization process.

My advice - pick up Guy's book and read closely with a highlighter and you will undoubtedly consult the book and Guy's advice again and again. Great read!

I'm only half way through the book and it is full of great information. I love it. It is exactly what I needed. It is easy to read, easy to follow, simple and to the point. It includes exercises to get you started. It's honest about things you need and don't need and the purpose of both. I recommend it for anyone starting a business or even for an ongoing business who could use a good review of its situation and strategies. Money well spent! Good Luck!!

I loved the book, it was easy to follow and a great way to learn about starting a company. I had to buy it for class in graduate school and it was a great change from the traditional text book monotony.
