Asphalt: Urban GT (Nintendo DS, 2004)

When I got a DS for Christmas I went looking for some games, I looked at this sweet game and realized it was $30, maybe for a console but not a handheld game. So I bought this cheapo.

It was about $20 and a better value, although I should have paid the extra $10, for Asphalt Urban GT isn't a bad game, just not a very good one.

The graphics are not that great, even for a handheld, and could have been improved.

The actual racing is pretty solid, and easy to learn.

The coolest feature by far is the ability to buy cars and "pimp" them out, not with 32 in. plasma TVs, but with upgraded parts, and even body decals.

Although this game isn't the best, it still is fun and has some replay ability in it, which makes it a must have for a hard-core DS racing aficionado.

Overall if you are looking for a basic racing game this is the one for you. I recently got a Nintendo 3ds and did not know what kind of racing games that Nintendo ds offered. This ended up being a great choice as I know I like racing games and it seemed to perfectly fit my needs as a beginner on the Nintendo DS systems- Thats not to say it is easy (or impossible for that matter) to win races! Just that it is your basic race game. You are able to chose from multiple types of cars and car companies which is a plus as well.

I bought it because I like racing games.
I like the different choices of cars they have.
It's a fun game.
I like the "Power Booster."
I like all the special effects.
I didn't like that it was too easy,and I beat it,too soon.

I bought Asphalt: Urban GT (Nintendo DS) game because the price was right where I was looking to spend on this type of game. My son loves this game and it's graphics.

I like the fact that you don't have to pay full price and the quality of the game is still as nice as if you buy new. May or may not come with instructions but kids can figure them out.
