My first 2-line phone

) I found the setup less complicated then I thought it would be. While programming the display, the phone was forgiving of my mistakes. What I mean by this is that there where no long, layered choice menus that to correct a mistake makes you go back x number of steps to the beginning just to get back to where you were. I have a fax/answering machine that does this and it gets me frustrated. But not with the AT&T 972.
Being a used machine it did not come with a manual but I found one easily on the web. The manual I would rate as average towards the above average side. There are a few areas that I had to go over a few times to understand it but there were no areas where I was stumped. Replacing the battery is a little tricky and without the manual I would not have been able to figure out. It takes one 9 volt.
Having never had a 2-line phone before and never having call-waiting before (yes in this day and age) I had both phone lines working and it programmed within a half hour. And after another 15 minutes of playing around I was comfortable and confident that I could use it easily and that it would, eventually, become a seamless partner in business.

) Great working phone, very easy to use, were very satisfied. Its a 2 line phone and can store 30+ numbers for quick look up and dial.
