ATV Offroad Fury: Blazin' Trails (PlayStation Portable, 2005)

This game ROCKS! I love the music always playing in the background. It is like having an MP3 in your helmet, but you still hear the engine of your ATV, neither sound detracks from the other. The music tracks are by original artists, a big plus!
I love racing games, but some get boring. This has solid racing, and a variety of tracks to master. It's fun, performing the stunts for extra points, to try to beat out the competition in speed, winning of the race, and stunt points.
The program lets you "tweak" your ATV to your own specifications.
Personalization of your rider, mine is "Evil T", he is insane!!! He is an HMO's worst nightmare. LOL The graphics are great on this game.
Dislikes just one. The ATV cannot be controlled with the joystick, like the PS2 version. I do all my driving with the pad, and it is a quick switch for pre-loads and power slides. "Evil T" got busted up many times before I mastered that.
I bought this game because it is a different racing format. I like the dirt, the hills, the skill of keeping my rider on his ATV, if he gets clipped by another rider.It is a riot to clip other riders and send them flying off their ATV's when competing with friends. It isn't just another round and round the track, racing game.
It is reasonably priced on E-Bay, and this game is a lot of fun.
I liked this one so much I will buy the new Off Road Mx Versus game.

This Game is packed with so much more than the ATV Off Road it has a number of options from body decals to what your rider wears to what color your ATV is to what color the rider clothes are you have the option to change out tires engine components to every thing it takes you moving butt threw diffrent courses like a crazy man this game is so much fun A+ all the way around this compared to just ATV Off Road is hands down 10 times better

Often racing games are too easy or too difficult to beat. Blazin' Trails has found that happy medium, offering very good re-playability. This game came with my PSP, and after purchasing several games, I kept coming back to it. Nothin' like screaming around a corner, destined to fly off into the trees, only to be saved by another rider coming around wider than you are. A satisfying smack sends him flying as you stay on course.

A good variety of different types of races and freestyling keeps you interested, with excellent graphics to immerse you into the game. As you progress, you earn cash and endorsements, allowing you to upgrade your ride (or buy a new one).

Racing fans should take a look, and for off-road fans this is a must buy. I probably never would have purchased this game, but I sure am glad that I own it.

I was surprised at the changes made to this game compared to ATV1 and 2. It's a solid game, but only racing ATVs kinda sucks. I also didn't like the crappy falls and grainy graphics. But, career mode is long and sweet. Soundtrack is awesome, I liked all the songs(except for a couple) Mini-games are fun, especially online. Online is also the i've seen on the PS2. It has leaderboards, forums, news, promos, updates etc. This is a very solid game, but only ATVs is frustating. Sony should MX bikes and stuff like that. But overall, this game is very good and fun.

i loooove this game! great racing games that is action packed and enjoyable for hours. good music and fun stuff such as changing atv and rider colors and logos! also buying new stuff and cool trucks on command. really truly is a great game!
