Audiovox RCA Pearl TH1702 (2 GB) Digital Media Player

With most everything that you buy these days, this MP3 player is just right. It does not require a special battery or a bunch of special cables to use it. It will hold approx. 400 songs depending on the sample size (I am satisfied with 128 bit sample rate). It is simple to load music on with its built in USB port and only a few buttons to deal with. I get tired of the multiple use buttons that some new equipment has where if you hold it you get one action and if you just touch it you get a different result. I am sure that someone makes one with a GPS, Camera, Cell Phone, Can Opener, Screwdriver and plays multiple Video formats, Etc. NOT interested in all of that crap. This device does not even require you to read anything! I think that I will try and purchase a few more while they are still available just like they are. Take one of these and plug it into a set of computer speakers and you have an instant stereo. This unit is would be great even if it didn’t have the voice recorder, radio or audio book. What more can I say, I just like simple!

I've used several other mp3 players that are much more expensive. This mp3 player is the best one out there for the price. It's simple, intuitive and easy to use. Data transfer from my computer to the built in flash drive is flawless. IT USES A STANDARD CAN FIND ANYWHERE POWERSOURCE, AAA BATTERY). That was a hint for other manufacturers! I've accidentally left this player in my shirt pocket and washed it twice. I removed the battery and let it dry out. It's still functioning without issues. Who ever designed this gadget knew what they were doing.

Super easy to download music and great sound. Love the fact that it takes a battery and doesn't get power from my computer. I have had other Media Players and this is the best and easiest to use.

The cool thing about this player is the size and price. I have Ipods. The sound quality sounds just as good. Software is simple. Just plug RCA MP3 via USB. Perfect. AAA battery will last close to 30hrs of use. This will work with I tunes. Unlike other MP3s. The earbuds can be replaced with better ones. Although they sound decent. I bought to use to download my bands music files. I was suprised how good I sound on here.
