Audrey Hepburn Story (DVD, 2000, Closed Captioned; Widescreen)

This film stars Jennifer Love-Hewitt (The Ghost Whisperer) as Audrey Hepburn. I started watching this on the Biography channel a few years ago on New Years Eve and had to go out. I finally got round to buying it and what a treat it was. Jennifer gives a five star performance as Audrey Hepburn (a big challenge I'm sure) her accent was impeccable, she was so graceful in the dancing scenes, she has an absolutely amazing singing voice and she looked utterly gorgeous in all the costumes (the style suits her prfectly). Her rendition of Moon River gave me just as many goosebumps as Audrey's own version. With the added bonus of Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) as Audrey's first husband Mel Ferrer this is a film that I am sure to watch over and over again not only because the story Ms Hepburn's life makes compulsive viewing but because Ms Love-Hewitt's performance is flawless.

Jennifer Love Hewitt does a great job as Audrey Hepburn in this film. I'd seen the movie not long after it first was released but didn't purcase it at the time. I'm on a bit of an old movie kick but figured; why not? I like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Audrey Hepburn and this is a movie with one playing the other. If you're not sure if you want to buy it or not, just buy it. You'll agree after watching it that it is indeed a great movie.

The excellent rating here is actually for Audrey Hepburn herself. She was a real lady in the old sense of the world. She cared deeply about those about her, especially children. Even though Jennifer Love Hewitt received not the greatest of reviews for her portrayal, I personally thought she did very, very well. This is a wonderful movie about one of our greatest ladies in the last century -- Audrey Hepburn.

Jennifer Love Hewitt was wonderful in this movie based on the life of Audrey Hepburn. The movie is well directed, written and just overall wonderful! I would 100 % recommend it to anyone.

I really love Audrey Hepburn which is why I bought this, and I also like Jennifer Love Hewitt, but the movie was honestly annoying at times. I am glad I bought it cause I did want to see it, but its not going to be one of those movie you watch and afterward say how much you love it. It will be one of those movies you can either stand or you hate.
