    I watched the inspired series as a kid and wanted to read the full story. Got to this fourth installment and was imbittered and dissapointed with the turnout of most characters. Still it didnt prove to be any less intruiging as all of the previous novels. Phenominal comedic writer!

    This is a story about a fictional apartment house run by Mrs. Madrigal and how she includes all of the tenants as her family. They share each others ups and downs. In one of the books, it says, it's their "logical" family, not their "biological" one. Absolutely wonderful.
