Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This GAME at Home.

    Created: 10/12/07
I'm a big wrestling fan. I'm also a big fan of the original ECW. So when I recently got back into playing video games a little bit, I knew I had to check this out because it sounded like hardcore wrestling. After playing this, I would recommend this game to nobody. It was just terrible, and more frustrating than it was worth.

Personally, I've never been a hardcore gamer. I like to play the wrestling games on an easy or normal difficulty level just so I can have some fun and see the story modes. To me, the mark of a truly good game is having REAL difficulty levels. All too often, I've seen games that have difficulty levels, but are still way too easy no matter what level you use. Even worse, though, I've seen games that have difficulty levels, but are way too hard no matter what level you choose. This game, while not VERY hard, happens to fall into that category. Even on the normal level, it is more frustration than it is really worth.

What is especially stupid is that none of the main wrestlers you'd be likely to know and want to be in the game are readily available. You have to unlock most of the good people through the story mode. The whole talk show thing is kind of cool, but it isn't really much of a story mode at all.

The game is just stupid, and so far as I can tell, you can't even pin anybody or make them submit. You just beat them until their health bar is drained like this is Mortal Kombat or something. The Create a Wrestler, always a favorite feature of mine, just plain stinks. You can't really create your own wrestler at all, they just give you a bunch of pre-created characters that you can give your own name and choose a move set.

This game is just overall bad. I got it on eBay for 99 cents, and it was barely worth that. It seems like it has potential, but it just isn't a good game at all.

    Fun Multiplayer Extreme Fighting Game

    Created: 14/08/06
This game's single player mode is rather lame. It's rather hard to beat and isn't too much fun. The best part about this game is the multiplayer mode however. It's fun to be able to throw your friend's character into a flaming mattress. It features about 4 different playing areas and is a good game to own. Remember though, don't buy it if you intend to play it alone, you'll be disappointed.

even though it is pretty bloody and hard core beatings, my children know it's just a game and not to try it in real life. They had alot of fun playing it while away on vacation at my families house so I am deciding to buy it off of ebay!!!

    Good Game

I liked that you could use lots of weapons and a ok story line.
I did not care for the animation on the moves and players.

My son loves it. You can grab anything and throw it at your opponent. It's street fighting. I bought it because my son loves wrestling and it's a great price.
