Plot Synopsis by Mark Deming
They're cute, they're perky, and they're lethal -- they're the malicious high-school students in this dark teen comedy.Brooke (Monica Keena), Danielle (Julie Benz), and Tiffany (Nicole Bilderback) are three attractive and popular teenage girls who have risen to the top of the pecking order at their high school, and that's just the way they want things to stay. A sexy exchange student, however, arrives at the school and soon attracts the attention of all the boys -- including Danielle's hunky boyfriend. Not eager to share the spotlight with anyone, the gals decide that the new girl in town needs to be dealt with...permanently. Produced under the title A Fate Totally Worse Than Death (the title of the novel by Paul Fleischman which was the basis for the screenplay), Bad Girls From Valley High also features supporting appearances from Janet Leigh and Christopher Lloyd.

Bad Girls From Valley High - Arch-vile's review
Created: 26/08/10
I actually bought this dvd cause I was a huge Jon Brandis fan. From Seaquest to ladybugs, to sidekicks. He was a good actor and seeing how this was his last movie, I wanted to see it.
After watching it, I couldn't help but think this plot is identical to the movie Jawbreaker and considering Julie Benz is in both, go figure.
I also couldn't help but wonder how the writers felt at one of the last scenes where Julie has a gun, telling Brandis to kill himself. Considering that's how he died in real life. Was a tad creepy.
Aside from those things, this movie really has no plot, its pretty boring all things considering and I also find it annoying that people making highschool movies, always cast 30yr olds to play the parts of high school kids. Movies, like not another teen movie, jawbreakers, american pie, and i'm sure older movies were guilty of the same thing such as Porky's and american graffiti.
All in all it ok. Nothing more, just ok.

Misfire!

What was supposed to be a good book, adapted well, with a talented director and outstanding cast-- it misfires, is boring, and totally confuses the viewer by just somehow dancing around doing what it is supposed to be doing, slapping up peanut butter when the sign says steak.
an avoid this title type of work
