Bambi 2

Bambi 2 is one of the best Disney sequels (or in this case midquel) that I have seen! It stays true to the original (even if the original was over 60 years before this one), it has a similar look to is as the original, the characters act, sounds very similar as they do in the original!
The characters are awesome, the returning characters are just as fun and loving as they were before... and a few characters who we hardly knew from the original (The Great Prince and Ronno) appear in this one much more... so we learn more of their character and who they are!
I personally loved Ronno, he was hilarious and the highlight of the movie to me, I just adored him and loved seeing him on the screen!
The only thing I didn't like about the film was the ending with Ronno and the turtle, just seemed like a forced way for Bambi to look 'braver' when he clearly was not!
I first seen this film on youtube and loved it so much I just had to own it!
Overall great story, great sequel, great movie... and if the writers keep the same characters and creative minds, I would love to see a Bambi 3 someday!

Bambi is a film that is a must see if you have not already have seen it at least once in your lifetime. It is a beautiful, inspiring story that touches your heart. I have liked this story ever since I was a small child. Some of my best memories include myself when I was younger watching the original movie on cable television. I still like this original film and also the second even though I am 16 years old, I still love it because I think that it has somewhat changed my life. It has helped me think about things differently on certain things such as life and nature. Bambi is a good film to see if you like the Dinsey Classics. It is not just a children's film and story but it is for all ages. I decided to buy this film along with the oringinal film so that I can watch these films whenever I feel bad or have had a bad day at school or etc. I also decided to buy them so that in the future I can cherish them for the rest of my life. I hope that someday that I get the opportunity to make a third story and hope that it will be successful enough to be transformed into the third film of the Bambi story trilogy. I like all of the characters in both films except the offscreen villian known as "Man". I do like Bambi's rival,Ronno, that gets introduced more clearly than of the original. Once again I think that anyone that has not ever seen or read about this story should read the book or watch the movie because it can touch our heart, but it also has some sad scenes that you may want a box of tisues by your side when you watch the film. I will always love this story no matter what happens.

Bambi II

While Disney has for sure gone down hill with all the teeny-bopper shows, the more pixar movies which to me seem dry and boring, Bambi II pretty much picks up at the part where his mom gets blown to pieces. It shows how his father, the Great Prince tries to mold Bambi into something he's not ready for, but yet it also shows how they bond together, Overall, I think if you enjoy the original Bambi, this one's pretty much the same. Disney just isn't what it used to be, and to me, that's a shame. I decided to buy Bambi II because I have pretty much every single Disney animated move that ahs ever come out, from Alice in Wonderland, to Winnie The Pooh.

LOVED THIS MOVIE!

My daughter and I enjoyed this movie immensly. The quality of animation and the character voices were amazing, unlike some made-for-video Disney movies. There is definitely more dialogue then in the first movie which some people find disappointing, but I thought made the movie more interesting. Thumper is hilarious and steals the show yet again! The movie is about the time shared between Bambi and his father after his mother dies which you don't get to see in the first BAMBI. It is sweet, funny and a great sequel to BAMBI!

Soft touch on serious issues

Okay so it's not the original. Disney's sequels seldom measure up to the originals, some are real bombs, but this is better than most. I loved how it touched on the difficulty of a father stepping in to raise his child alone. Both are strangers who, after losing a loved one, have to learn to be a family and they learn this from each other. Originally neither one knows how to cope with this new person in their life but love grows. The child learns courage and responsibility and the parent learns how to have fun and show emotion. Intermingled in the story are all of the original fun characters like Thumper and his sisters as well as Flower the lovable skunk. It is really a good movie and worth adding to your collection.
