Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses (DVD, 2006)

barbie in the 12 dancing princesses has to be the best barbie movie yet!!!in this one barbie is princess genevieve and she has 11 other sisters.her father is trying to raise them by himself but find he can't make them into the true princesses they need to be.so he calls upon his cousin to come to the castle to help teach them how to become princesses.but she has other plans for him and his kingdom.this movie is full of suspense and a must have for any barbie fan.it even has the music video for shine on it too...great movie!!!!!!!

My kids really love the Barbie in the 12 dancing princesses a lot. As soon as it arrived, my kids started to watch it. They couldn't wait for me to get off at work. As I arrive home, they're watching it again. I watch it with my kids, wow! not bad of animation I said. I am very satisfied with the dvd. Thank you very much for the wonderful animations....

Barbie in The 12 Dancing Princesses is a wonderful musical. It tells the story of 12 princesses who, with the help of Derek, a shoe cobbler, escape away to a hidden realm told to them through their mother's children's stories. They must join together to discover the evil their aunt is scheming and the harm that she is causing their father, the king. They must hurry to save the kingdom and their father.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my college roommate. She and I watch cartoons while doing homework. The film, however, is a great film for little girls who are wanting to dream of castles and princes and princesses.

My 4 1/2 year old little girl, and 2 1/2 year old little boy love it! It is one of their favorites. We had to get a new one because their old one got all scratched up (from too much love)!
This is a great movie full of dancing, an evil cousin trying to take over the throne, and 12 sisters who love to dance and work together to save their father.
It does not follow the traditional "12 Dancing Princesses" storyline. But it is an enjoyable movie. (It has also been discontinued, and is no longer available in stores). I highly recommend it!

I bought the dvd Barbie in the 12 dancing Princess because my daughter wanted it for christmas. It has not been opened. My daughter has the whole collection of the barbie's movies.
