This foundation is excellent. It goes on smoothly, spreads nicely and provides great coverage. You can control the amount of coverage you desire by the amount you apply. It has light reflective minerals so that it covers up fine lines and reduces the appearance of pores. It gives a very natural finish and does not cake and makes your skin look healthy and young. I bought the matte formula which is beautiful, but I think next time I will buy the original formula which allows more of a glow which I think can be youthful too. I bought this product after researching online for a mineral foundation that gives your skin a youthful appearance. The hardest part is determining which color is best suited for your skin color. The bare escentuals website can help with that. I have tried other mineral foundations and prefer this one becuase it is easier to apply and blend and it lasts all day.

I've been using this product for several years. I'm in my late 50's and have rosacea. This foundation has the coverage I need without looking heavy and unnatural. I've tried the drugstore brand but haven't found the same quality. Bare Escentuals is a powder, but it feels almost creamy. The other brands seemed dry. It's easy to find your correct shade in this product and you can easily mix shades. I do this in the summer when I want to have more color on my face. This is a great product!

This Bare Escentuals foundation is different as it is a matte foundation and I find that it goes on very well and does not leave any shine at all on your face. You still look like you are not wearing any makeup just beautiful face without the glowey shine. Do not hesitate to purchase this product as it is very good for the over 40 group. LOL

I really love this BE foundation. the larger size is great! I took off a star because it doesn't have the new sliding opener that makes it less messy to use. I wish BE would always make this larger size! Also this is not the Matte one..it is the original one. I am fairly light and the matte is too drying for me.
