    I tried doing a bargello quilt at one time and was not enthused with the process of sewing all those offset strips together to achieve the design. Then here comes 'Maggie'. I love her technique for making a beautiful bargello quilt using blocks. Her directions are very clear and the blocks go together very quickly. The best book I have had in awhile.
    I recommend this book for all levels of quilters.

    I have been a quilter for over twenty-five years. However, I have been a traditionalist preferring the tried and true patterns and fabrics. After seeing a bargello quilt, I was determined to make one. I am a visual learner and I must "see it done" in order for me to do it. Therefore, I found the directions in many of the Bargello Quilt Books to be difficult to follow. When I received the Bargello Quilts With a Twist, I was elated. I sat down that afternoon and started on my quilt top. It is now finished and I am absolutely elated with the results.
