    Author has put a few personal notes into the plant facts, what taste to expect and if it is worth your time to gather and a few recipes.

    Full color photos of plants, only thing that would have been better is a photo of plant in each growing stage (haven't found book yet with all stages).

    Over all a good book to have if hiking or just learning what plants to eat from the backyard.

    **Not a negative just a note -- Book measures 9 h x 6 w so not a pocket size for easy carrying when hunting.
