Movie synopsis

This animated Bat-tale features a unique twist on the legend of the Caped Crusader. While attempting to thwart the usual array of deviant evildoers such as Penguin and the Joker, Batman suddenly finds himself face to face with a villain who has a penchant for blood and an aversion to garlic--yes, it's Dracula! As the citizens of Gotham City slowly and unwittingly succumb to the Count's unfortunately persuasive ways, Batman has to fight off this new menace while also returning the newly-bloodthirsty Gothamites back to their old eating habits.

BATMAN VS. DRACULA - A REVIEW OF THE FILM

Created: 25/08/08
NOT A BAD STORY, SOME DECENT FIGHT SCENES, BUT THE ANIMATION IS PRETTY FAR OUT.IF YOU CAN GEET USED TO A THREE-FINGERED PENGUIN AND A JOKER WHO LOOKS LIKE A MONKEY ON ACID, THEN YOU WILL BE OK WITH THIS MOVIE.
I PURCHASED IT BECAUSE I AM A HUGE BATMAN FAN AND WANTED TO TRY AND COLLECT EVERY ANIMATED MOVIE EVER MADE WITH HIM IN IT. I MAY HAVE SKIPPED THIS ONE IF I KNEW WHAT I WAS IN STORE FOR.
BOTTOM LINE: THIS IS A WEIRD MOVIE. BATMAN TRADITIONALIST'S WILL LIKELY BE PUT OFF BY THE STRANGE DEPICTIONS OF SOME OF THE CHARACTERS. OVERALL 4.5/10

One of the better batman movies

I own all of the "older" Batman animated movies... if this one isn't part of one of the complete season DVD's I'll be buying it down the road. An excellent story... nicly paced, and with an appearance from the Penguin. The Batman is my favorite incarnation of the Dark Knight... and this movie is a keeper.

The Batman vs Dracula

Created: 12/01/10
This movie was surprisingly really good. The movie introduced a classic batman character: Vicki Vale which was one of the first love interests of Bruce Wayne. We also see other villians such as the Penguin and Joker. The only little thing I didnt enjoy about the movie was how they actually made the Joker afraid and scared of dracula and that is something I have never seen before and it didnt look like something joker would ever do. All in all the movie was entertaining if you are a fan of The Batman then I highly reccomend picking this movie up.

The Batman vs. Dracula (2005, DVD)

Created: 04/10/07
I purchased this DVD because my husband is a Batman fan. We thought the movie would be a nice addition to his collection. This movie may not be the best choice for small children since some scenes contain scary images. However, it would be entertaining for older children. We rate this movie as average.

The film falls in line with the "The Batman" cartoon series. The story, and series as a whole, is well done and is entertaining for children and adults.

I bought thisDVD for my 3 year old who has gotten Batman fever and it has become a regular in his rotation.
