Battle Angel (DVD, 1999)

No anime collection is complete without this one. While it is another story altogether why the complete series was never completed leaving unanswered questions about the storyline itself,this does not detract from this short series as it is. Very briefly, cyber-doctor Ido finds a living head of a cyber girl in the trash heap of the city of Zalem that floats above the squalid Scrap Iron City,built to recycle the trash and to resupply Zalem. The artwork,while in the "80's" style,is well above average and the storyline is more than interesting. Cally,the name given to the girl after Dr. Ido reassembles her, is a sweetheart but is also more than capable of taking care of herself. This storyline could have gone on for quite awhile but for reasons other than the quality of this short series stopped it here on this DVD/tape at but two episodes. Highly recommended in all respects.

First of all, I am amazed that you have this many AUTHENTIC ADV Battle Angel dvds on hand. Secondly, the price is unbelievable too! I opened one to verify that the original hologram "Gally" disc is there--and she is! I am ordering a few more right now to boost up my collection--who knows if there will ever be a golden opportunity like this ever again!! Excellent!
