) Iv'e read it before and I have read it again and again. It's a wonderful and fascinating story. I still keep it near to cheer me up once in a while. Battlefield Earth, it's my favorite. Don't get it mixed up with the movie now. It's not the same story. C.J

The movie version of this story was not so great. It left out a lot of interesting parts of the story. That is the way it goes when Hollywood gets a hold of a great story. Its chop, chop and how can we make some fast money with as little effort as posible.
As for this book it is great. If you are a fan of sci-fi I highly recomend that you pick this one up. But, be ready to devote some time to it because it is over 800 pages long. Maybe I read slower than most. It took me a while to get through it.
