Battlefield Vietnam..A game that follows the conflicts that was the Vietnam war.

This has got to be THE GREATEST multiplayer military game of all time second to none.The ONLY game that has a sound track of all songs that were popular back in the 60's.Done by the original artists CCR,The Box Tops,Deep Purple,Rare Earth just to name a few.Spending hours powning your friends to period music is nothing when you get involved in this game.Drive tanks,fly choppers,fly jets,and use the artillery.Beautiful graphics that just makes you want more.You will not know the fun until you've opened the game thew it in the drive and fired this mother up.Single player,Multiplayer the fun is just waiting.Also PC requirements are not that bad so even people with a soso PC can play the game.

OH this game was awesome. From being able to hide anywhere on the map with a sniper rifle and pick off stragglers. TO mastering the controles of a helichopter and leading your troops to victory. I loved this game!!!! Tanks, jeeps, pto boats, anti air guns ( I cant stop drueling ) Online play was great! You meet alot of fun players, its always competitive, no matter how good you think you get. Theirs always someone out their better! And I thought I was pretty good. But after 1 battle, 2kills and 17 deaths I relized I had alot to learn lol. THe controles are simple, w,s,d,a up, down, right, left. Use your mouse to keep your gun on target then click away when you seen an enemny. Sure you would probably not do good at first, but hey thats the fun in games, getting good at them. Team work was a must, but your skill if great! could over come a weak team. After each battle it would show the leader in kills, points, ect. And since you kept the same name you could easily get known as a good player, or not so good. Was alot of fun. A huge variety of maps, from city fighting, to jungle war fair. Great music!! 1,2,3,4,5,6 you could pick your song! Blairing it from a heli as you swooped down to rain pain on your enemies hehe. Maybe I liked this game to much since my wife would often hide it from me :(. Over all i wanted to say 5 stars, but is more a 4.5star game.

This is my first experience with any Battlefield game and boy was I dissapointed. Dark maps and small maps. Confusing controls. I gave this game about 2-3 hours of play before calling it quits. I hope the others in the battlefield series are better...

Since I haven't played it yet though, will leave it at Good. But I do know it will be Good or it wouldn't be on my List! There aren't enough good Nam based Strategy and Shooters out there and so this is a welcome Title in my book. Battlefield Vietnam is the second release in the Battlefield series from EA Games. Vietnam follows the American's in the Vietnam conflict. You get the 1960's-1970's weapons and the maps are very jungle like. I really enjoy the fact that you can play period music (or your own mp3's) as you do battle.

The best part about this game was the multiplayer mode. I enjoyed playing the vietcong and hiding up in the hills beside an American spawn point. Then as all the players jockey around for helicopters you pick them off one by one with sniper head shots! LoL.
