Beaches is my all-time favorite movie. It is of a friendship that almost nothing can separate. It's about 2 girls who are friends their entire lives. These 2 women know each other better than anyone else. True friends will do anything for each other. Bette Midler finds out just how far she will have to go to help her friend. The acting in the movie is superb, the comedy fantastic, the tears are real.

This movie is well written and it tells a story of two women who live seperate lives from one side of the country to the other. These two women meet in Atlantic City as children and then later on get together in New York. It is a great story of struggles,friendship and getting through life together. A good movie that I highly recommend.

I had this movie on VHS and had to buy it on DVD for better quality. It's the biggest tear jerker of all time. It's all about what friends should be. The song Wind Beneath my Wings reminds me of my mom's death since she was my best friend. I've watched this a million times already.

a complete classics of classics movie.Barbara Hershey and the great Bette Midler work so well together in this touching story of best friends with the up and downs of life and coping with it.this is the best price Ive seen on this dvd and excited to watch it when I got it.
