Gave Dad and I bonding time.

Awesome movie! Took my dad and I way back to the days when he used to break dance. He could relate to the story well. Good bonding movie for my dad and I. Bonding time=priceless.

I grew up in this era and it brings back some pretty cool memories. I was born and raised in New York. I began break dancing with the other "Gods" in Queens NY. We became involved in rap because of the groups shown throughout the film. The filming was truly authentic for that particular time as I clearly remeber bombing the "F" & "RR" trains in Queens.

Break dancing movie classic. Back to the early 80's!!!

I remember this movie when it first came out in the theater. I even owned it on VHS. This movie took me back to those break dancing days in the 80's. I remember seeing break dancing battles in my local high school. This is a break dancing classic and a must to have at a great price.

This is one of the best movie with cool 80-is rapping ever. This is a movie for all would like real rapping, the time around 80-is when Suger Hill Gang, Grand Master Flash etc intruducing real rapp, not new boring rapp without a real messege. I love every singel track on this dvd and I even will recommended at the same time, the soundtrack to this movie also!!! Super Great. Best was Christmas Rapping, I love that, track. Highest Recommendation to all would like Real rapping or rythm talk as I wold like to call it! 5-Star

Hip Hop culture with a side of cheese.
Created: 10/05/08
A must have for any hip hop fan, but it does come with a high level of cheese factor. Good scenes with Crazy Legs and the Rock Steady Crew (RIP Frosty Freeze), decent early graffiti portrayal and a definite capture of the times. Young kids should go back and pay homage to the founders of the culture and this is a good start, along with Wild Style, Style Wars, Breakin' I and Breakin' II.
