Excellent CD

Created: 16/06/06
Would you love to interest your children in classical music? Both of my kids, 9 and 12 when we first heard this first CD, know all the words to every song, and since most of the songs name both the composer and the title of the music somewhere in the song, they also know the traditional piece when they hear it. The words are fun and will make you laugh out loud, each CD plays the all the songs once with the silly lyrics, and then again in a more traditional manner. We were interested in this one after a cousin introduced my mother to Beethoven's Wig 1. Since then we have purchase the second and just recently the third. I loved Hooked on Classics as a young person, but I truly think this is even better. Hope you love it as much as we do.

EXCEPTIONAL!

Created: 21/08/06
I used this CD for a music themed children's summer reading program at our public library. The kids LOVED the CD and they even learned the lyrics to the title song. I used to teach elementary music and wish I had this CD back then! It is EXCEPTIONALLY well done and helps familiarize kids (AND adults) with classical music standards. Since I purchased it with my own funds, I got to bring it home and keep it. I still love listening to it for my own personal enjoyment. And even if there are people out there that think they are too uppity to buy this because they "know" classical music...well, they need to listen to it and learn to loosen up a bit :-).

Classical music for kids is FUN

Created: 24/09/06
I started playing this when our young grandchildren (2 and 4) were visitng. They liked it so much that every time we got into the car they asked for their favorite cuts. Some adults got tired of it, but the children never did. I'm sure they will carry some of these tunes in their heads forever. I often heard them humming or singing music from the recording.

We loved it!

I borrowed this from the library and my kids took an instant liking to these songs. They begged me not to return this. The songs are silly and very catchy. My kids recognize the music any time they hear it now. We are all becoming more aware of classical music and loving it.
