Before You Put That On: 365 Daily Style Tips For Her by Lloyd Boston (2005, Hardcover)

I saw the author on his show on the "Style" channel, and I decided to buy the book. I like the advice (great!)but I was a bit disappointed at the lack of pictures to illustrate some of that great styling tips. I would have enjoyed seeing real women (not tall thin models) wearing some of the looks that he proposes. Also, the only pics in the book are from him. In a style book I expect style ideas and pictures (an image is worth 1000 words!). Otherwise, the book is easy to read, and provide some great ideas for updating one's style.

I bought this book because I saw the author on the Oprah Show and liked him. The book is an excellent source for makeup and fashion tips. It gives tips and opinions from the top fashion designers, models and artists. It is written in a way you can find the tips you need quickly.

Great book. I thought that this book would contain boring daily tips but on the contrary, this book was fun, interactive, and very insightful. Great author. A little bit of everyone would enjoy this book.

I love that I can start reading the book anytime of the year even though the calendar starts in January. All the tips are universal, nothing too extreme to follow.

Lloyd really knows fashion, classics and trends, and is able to mix up concepts to keep the reader excited about the next day's focus.

A great book by Lloyd Boston. Lots of practical information. Would've given it an excellent rating if it had pictures of outfits and how to mix and match them (but I knew that before I purchased the book). Still a good read!
