The Beginner's Guide to Dog Agility by Laurie Leach (2006, Paperback)

This book is very easy to understand and follow. As a beginner to agility training, I gained a better understanding of the sport. The time and dedication needed from both the handler and the dog. I especially liked the way in which the author made comparisons and explained the different types of shows, challenges and rules. Perhaps we will proceed with more realistic expectations. Great overall guide for beginner and novice!

I believe my dog would enjoy learning and doing agility so I began looking for a book that would explain the basics to me. I found this book not only to have all of the information I was looking for, but more than I could hope for.

Well written and at times entertaining, I would recomend this book to any dog owner who would like to introduce themselves to the world of agility.

What a great simple book!! It is very easy to understand, diagrams, with wonderful gradients
to get a poochie up to speed agility wise. I wish I had this book before!

I only flipped through it and read parts of it, but did find lots of tips that is going to help, as we are beginners with lots of energy.
I would recommend this book to any beginners that wants some tips of training your dog.
