Great concept on old idea

Created: 07/06/10
This movie was very good. It brought the conflict of good and evil twisted with the psychological terror of what actually is a reality and what we truly believe. There are really fantastic scenes of the village and the church along with the creepy lead character and the edge of your seat ending. Its not a Steven King classic or a Clive Barker horror thriller but it has that hint of Exorcist like atmosphere. A fun movie to watch!!!
No Fredrico Fellini masterpiece but worth the time to check out!!!

I've seen a lot of thrillers so maybe I'm a bit harsh. OK , without spoilers, this movie had a real good story line. 'BUT' I happen to have read 3 books and seen 4 movies with the same familiar settings. Town under water. Spooks / they rise / make tons of trouble. Not gory (good) and not bloody (no slasher movie here). My only beef is that the story line dragged something pitiful. I had to fast forward 3 times to escape over dialog and boring scenes. A couple of nude scenes which actually are 'NOT' fillers, saved this movie from getting a below average rating. It comes off as a foreign film trying very hard to be a good Hollywood thriller. Over all, the movie's 'OK'. If you can score it on ebay for 5-6 dollars (including the S&H!)buy it. If more, use your discretion. You might be disappointed. With out spoilers, that's that!

This was the first time I show it.A friend told me about the movie. I could not rent it in any of the movie rentals places, because it was always rented out. That is why I bought it.I liked it.It had that old type of thriller to it.You never knew what was going to happen. It also did not have a lot of gore it had just enough to keep you on the egde of you seat.
