    great tactical game !!!

    Created: 13/12/07
beowulf game allows you to slay, crush and annihilate enemies - give orders and assign positions to your army to complete these tasks. lots of upgrades during play - hand to hand combat with enemies and monsters. could it be better, yes, but you wont get bord with all the hacking and tactics you'll have to do. beowulf has been given a bad rap, but it has better tactical moves than similar ps3 games that got a very high rating. have you ever seen a great movie and its received a bad rating? i think this is the case here.

dont let your fingers get tired or loose track of the tactical moves or you're in trouble!

    Beowulf -underdog has big bite

    Created: 30/07/08
This game follows the movie up to a point then you go on to other missions with your thanes and Wiglaf under your command,it has smooth fighting controls and character moving. I have never seen a commercial for this game let alone a single advertisement, i just found it on ebay. Many monsters, rebels, and creatures to fight (including Grendel at the first level of play), and its not one of those impossible games to get thru, so get it and beat, its worth it. Peace

    Very Fun!

    Created: 11/05/09
I like the massive destruction, and I love the heroic battle prowess you feel with Beowulf as he slaughters everything.

Accurate weapon handling (i.e. bigger weapons are slower, harder to swing and control) and fairly accurate combat play in single battle. Massive battles get a little confusing and everyone is just kind of flailing around.

Only issue I've had is the brightness. I've had brighten my screen in order to see parts of the environment in order to find paths and nooks. Small downside. I haven't played through completely, but so far I like it.

High Expectations Can Lead to High Let Downs

    Created: 22/01/08
After viewing the movie and the incredible job they did on it I went out and decided to purchase this game expecting to see some of the same detail put into it. I was not happy with what i found.

The graphics were supstandard for even a PS2 much less a nex gen system such as the 360.

The Game play itself is not to bad but could have been much much better considering the amount of time not spent on the graphical side of it.

The the sound is very bland.

The difficulty is i would say a 5 out of 10.

Would I purchase this game again after playing it probly not, and in all honesty if the company whom had produced it had not done so much better on thier previous titles I would black list them from my future purchases.

I have played some games many in fact that were not up to par in the graphic department. but they made up for it in game content. But this game just left a bad taste. Wait for this one to come to the Bargain bin folks becuase at even 5 dollars it still is expensive.

    Outstanding Product

    Created: 18/09/09
I purchased Beowulf:The Game and was immediately impressed with the quality in which the game was in, and with the price i gave for it. Adding the reasonable shipping also added to the wow factor of this product, not to mention the fact that i am a die-hard Beowulf fan.
