The Best Of Donny & Marie - Volume 1 (DVD, 2006, 2-Disc Set)

Love the Old Donny & Marie variety shows from the 1970's I'm been a fan since the early 1970's (younger OUCH age)BUT this DVD was a little disappointing. No one said there are one 4 shows on 2 DVDs (2 on disk 1 & 2 on disk 2)with some gallery pics of the costume's from the shows on both disk. What is disappointing is for $20.00 to $30.00 a pop depending on where you buy it (I highly recommend Ebay for cheapest prices)that's all you get.
What a rip! Example if You order other TV shows from that time like Three's Company you get a whole first season of shows for the same price.
It's easier to check with long time fans & Ebay if you what an entire season of Donny & Marie on DVD.
So bottomline GOOD is the quality of the shows on this DVD are excellent and i like the costume gallery part. BAD for so much money you should have the first season of D & M on two disk. Not 4 D & M shows.

tooks me back to my carefree teens. I wished for more shows. Enjoyed the behind the scenes gallery shots,they made the show more realistic. I am waiting impatiently for Volume 2. Hope it comes soon. An enjoyment for any Osmond fan. Showed off the different hair styles and the growth of both Donny and Marie. Would like to see more volumes. It was a great show all together brought back alot of friday night memeories waiting for 8p.m.

It was great to see this show again after all these years. It is a fun, family oriented show that may be a little dated for today's kids, but why not give it a try? 4 episodes does make me only want to see more, and although it says 4 full episodes it seems to me that some of it must have been cut out since they run about 30 minutes each and I remember it as being an hour show with commercials.

Brought back a lot of good memories. If you enjoyed waching their TV show years ago, you'll enjoy going back in time and watching again. Didn't remember they were soooooooooooooo young!
