Good , but not as good as the first

Funnyman Martin Lawrence steps back into the latex fatsuit for Big Momma's House 2, the sequel to one of Lawrence's biggest hits. Malcolm Turner (Lawrence, Bad Boys) goes undercover, turning his Big Momma disguise into a nanny for a computer company executive who may be concocting a means to hack into military databases. But that's just a pretense to get Big Momma coping with a perfectionist mom and her three kids, who are all dysfunctional in cute and easily resolved ways. Naturally, Big Momma dispenses life lessons and catches the crooks while Lawrence does his best to milk his fat drag act for cheap laughs. Unfortunately, those cheap laughs never quite pay off; the script is a wastebasket of cliches and clumsy set-ups for gags that never seem worth the effort. The movie desperately wants to appeal to women with cute kids while luring men with a spa visit featuring scantily clad Victoria's Secret models. Even Lawrence's fans will find themselves snoozing through this one.

i never saw the first big mommas house, so i dont know how it compares, i didnt expect much out of the movie (sequals are seldom as good) but i was impressed with how this movie went, it was great i think i should see the original. so funny.
this is a movie about an FBI agent who was in PR (for a safer job for his preggers wife) and secretly gets involved into a case (without even his boss knowing) all because he was offended they gave his preffered office away (they gave priority to someone in a more dangerous department) he was willing to take his old job back to keep his office but his boss didnt want to put him at risk considering the family situation.... so.... out with big momma ....

So-So...more of the same but not as funny.

more of the same..with less laughs than the original... not because its any worse but because its all been done before. Martin Lawrence is back as Big Momma once again. This time as a live in Nanny, working undercover of course.
Lawrence's character is funny at times and annoying at times. A couple of funny scenes save this one..the last scene with Big Momma dressed as a cheerleader is fun...overall, a simple movie. watch it if you have nothing else to do.

A hilarious comedy. Martin Lawrence could not have done a better job. A great sequel to Big Momma's House.
