Movie synopsis
THE BIG TEASE is a charming mockumentary of the competitive side of Hollywood and awards shows in general. Ferguson (who co-wrote the screenplay) is Crawford Mackenzie, a Scottish hairdresser who travels to Los Angeles to participate in the World Freestyle Hairdressing Championship in the hopes of taking home the Golden Scissor Award. Once there, he encounters a barrage of off-the-wall characters as he tries to climb the social ladder and take home the prize.

) CraigyFerg is in top form and very very funny!! He wrote the script along with his ex-wife Sascha Gervasi. The character he plays called Crawford Mackenzie is based on a real guy he knows (who was not acutally a hairdresser by the way) which, when you think about it, is a very nice tribute to pay to someone. This movie should not be confused with another similarly themed film called Blow Dry (2001) which stars Alan Rickman.

) This is mainly a comdy, but also has plenty of light ongoing drama. Craig Ferguson at his best, playing a well rounded character. We see every side of his character, as a good story should be told. Not a fall out of your chair funny movie, but an excellent and well put together film none the less.

actually competing. His trials & tribulations are sometimes hysterical, but
at times quite sad. Again, Craig Ferguson's self doubting image pulls at your heartstrings. He steals the movie.

) Craig Ferguson is very funny. This 'mock-umentary' about a high fashion hair contest is very entertaining. You will laugh at things you have no idea why you are laughing and at other times you can't wipe the smile off of you face.

This move is great! If you are a Craig fan, this is one for you. There are alot of big stars in it and some B list stars.
