Movie synopsis
A cult favorite (and one of director John Carpenter's personal favorites), BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA is a fantasy-action film that is brilliantly imaginative, funny, and absorbing. Kurt Russell plays hard-boiled truck driver Jack Burton, who gets caught in a bizarre conflict within, and underneath, San Francisco's Chinatown. An ancient Chinese prince and Chinatown crimelord has kidnapped a beautiful green-eyed woman, who is the fiancee to Jack's best friend. Jack must help his friend rescue the girl before the evil Lo Pan uses her to break the ancient curse that keeps him a fleshless and immortal spirit. Carpenter uses all the best elements of martial arts films, 1940s old action serials, Chinese mythology and straight-forward American adventure to make up a tale wild with imagination. Kurt Russell is wonderful as the brash, brave, and reluctant hero Jack Burton, who is hysterically out of place in this world of magic potions, goblins and curses. A visually stunning work that ranks as one of Carpenter's best films.

) This movie is a classic 80s movie, directed by the great John Carpenter. Director of other great movies like Halloween, In the Mouth of Madness and Ghosts of Mars. This movie is filled with beautiful green eyed women and a gun toting Kurt Russell. The dialogue is scatter with awesome one-liners. With a character list for the ages. Lo Pan, the head of the evil clan who is trying to get his human flesh back. Along with the help of his trifecta of henchmen; Thunder, Rain and Lightning. Battling the evil side is the force of Jack Burton, the truck driving womanizer, Wang Chi, Jack's trusty side kick and Uncle Chu, Wang's crazy eyed uncle. This is a movie you will just have to see yourself.

) This is A Crazy movie with neat special effects about a truck driver (Jack Burton) visiting a friend in China town and gets caught up in an old ancient Chinease evil that has stolen his friends girlfriend to Marry and kill her to bring Youth to himself. Really interesting if You liked Flash Gordon or the Last Dragon odds are you'll like this Very 80's tons of Cool special effects decent story

) "Big Trouble in Little China" is a great movie because its appropriate for all ages. I remember watching this movie as a child and being fascinated with the special effects, fantasy theme and bizarre nature of the film in general, but now as an adult can appreciate the plot, actors and comedy as well. Its definitely a cult classic and I would recommend watching it if you have a taste for unique films.
