Good workout
Created: 08/11/08
This is a great workout for anyone who doesn't like "dancy" exercise routines. It's more "boot camp" style, making it easy to follow along, even if you're unrhythmic like me! There are 3 different workouts--a 20 minute routine using light weights, a 10 minute aerobic segment, and a 10 minute cardio/kickboxing-type segment. You can customize the DVD to do all 3 workouts, or any combination of them, which is nice. But, to be honest, I found the "customizing" menu to be slightly confusing and had a little trouble doing it the first couple of times.
Overall, this is a good, basic kick-butt workout video that beginners and more advanced excisers should be able to utilize with good results.

AWESOME!

I am a very active person--I work out every day (running, biking, volleyball, etc). I also do a lot of workout videos in my home when I can't get out to exercise. I've done all kinds of videos and this one is one of the hardest ones I've tried. I was looking for a challenging one to add to my collection and since I've done one of Jillian's already (& it was GREAT too!) I decided to try this. I'm so glad I bought it! It gets you sweating and tired! But what's really great about it is that you can customize the workout if you're a beginner or advanced. You can pick to do just the 20 minute beginning workout with Bob (which was a good short workout on its own!), or the 20 minute workout plus a 10 minute one with Jillian, or for the most advanced, you can do the 20, 10, and another 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this video to anyone--from beginner to advanced. It works when you want to challenge yourself or if you need a good workout in a short amount of time.

Build your own workout
Created: 02/01/09
Imagine building your own workout by choosing what you have time to do or how much you are able to do on any given day. Choose a warm up, or 3 levels of cardio workouts and whether you want to cool down or not. You choose what you want to do.
The only drawback is waiting for the intro to play, you can't fast forward. But this gives you time to organize some light weights, exercise mat and some water for your workout.
I was sweating in no time. Nice to see normal people working out and not just a bunch of skinny people with ribs & belly buttons showing. A couple of people in the video vary the exercise due to ability of the performance. Example: Not everyone could do jumping jacks or hold weights (during certain moves). Stepping from side to side & raising the arms upward was a good substitution for the jumping jacks. Some people did not even hold weights because it was too much, others pushed themselves. You choose your own variation then eventually advance on your own time.
Excellent video.

The Biggest Loser: The Workout- Cardio Max (2007)
Created: 10/04/08
The workout is great....I was really sweating! I like that there are 3 sections and you can customize the workout. You can gradually work up to doing all 3 levels. Some of the moves are a little difficult to do, but most are fine. Only thing I don't really like is that the moves aren't really choreographed and the trainers don't really do the workout. So, it's hard to figure out what tempo to do the moves at, since the contestants were all going at different speeds. But, overall, I like this DVD and would recommend it to those who want to ramp up their workouts or want a great start to losing weight.
