Bio-Dome (DVD, 2009)

While most film critics or opinionated movie watchers would probably rate this film a 2 or 3 because maybe it doesn't reach the script or plot intensity of something like As Good As it Gets or Titantic. I on the the other hand, separate movies such as the ones I just listed into more distinct categories, such as: "Young Comedy". Bio-Dome is able to create a plot as well as the two most important characters, "Bud" and "Doyle", and capture the exact humor that attracts viewers from the age of 13 to 25, especially those who experienced the 90's. As Good as it Gets was a spectacular comedy, but one that you would watch when you are in a different mood than when watching Bio-Dome. Bio-Dome is perfect when it's time to relax, let loose and enjoy not thinking about anything. And for that crowd and mood, I would rate it 5 stars, because there is not another movie like it, that does quite as well.

I love love love this movie. Bud and Doyle get trapped in a Bio-Dome where they are conducting a year long experiment to maintain complete homeostasis within 4 different climates. The doors don't open until the year is up, and no one is prepared for the chaos Bud and Doyle will bring to the dome. Pauly Shore is absolutely hilarious. I would watch this movie over and over.

I absolutely love Pauly Shore. Even his obvious stinker "Jury Duty" got some laughs out of me. I see this film as his triumphant return to funny with his awesome Bud Stephen Baldwin. The jokes in this movies are defiantly Pauly-Riffic, as only his unique style of comedy could pull them off. I bought into the story line and thoroughly enjoyed the off-the-wall antics of these two party dudes as they take on the world of scientific discovery, and do their best to save the environment, party style.
I really enjoyed the fun they seem to be having on set, as well as the array of actors that are involved. I find this film to be be one on the best Pauly movies, second only to "Son In Law".
So if you are looking for a great party movie, or something to snuggle up with your Girl. I would Deeply Suggest getting your hands on this film.

Bio-Dome is a hilarious movie about two lay buys basically. It's got to be good if Pauly Shore is in it. I owned it on VHS bought two copies actually and this is the first one I found to buy on DVD in a long time. Bought it for my husband, he'd watch it every day if he could. Great movie!!!!! A+++++++

bio dome is one of my all time fave movies. its so freakin funny!! i got sick of having it on vhs so im super stoked to get the dvd. Viva Los Bio Dome!!!!!
