Biography: John & Abigail Adams - Love and Liberty (DVD, 2005)

This DVD was well made. It is a much shorter version than other John and Abigail Adams documentary type movies. There are many details left out so I would not suggest it if you are really studying the Adams lives but if you want a quick synopsis here it is.

I am really intrigued about John Adams. He was really quite a character. I admired him for what he stood for, but was not a very personal person. But he was a man that stood for his beliefs in our new country.

As a fan of John and Abigail Adams, I found this interesting but learned very little new information. I would have liked to see different portraits of them rather than seeing the same ones over and over. Also, there were facts omitted that I feel are very important, ie: the death of their daughter Nabby.
Well narrated and produced - good for a beginner in the study of John and Abigail.

I got this post the HBO series and while not nearly as dramitic as that series it did offer varietal viewpoints that have expaanded my understang of efforts....From this , I concur that he was more influential in forming our rebubpic state that he has previously been credited........I feel it to be a positive step UP the learning curve.........larry brown

Great movie/It's wonderful to be able to have a decent movie that I can show to my children. I didn't have to worry about language or unacceptable actions.
