Making Coffee With This Machine Is A Grind
Created: 28/09/06
The Black & Decker HCC100 (www.blackanddeckerappliances.com) is one of the new brewers that uses 'pods' of coffee or coffee-drink flavors to make a cup of coffee at a time. The HCC100 comes in white or black and sells for about $59.95 at Rite Aid, Target Walgreens and of course, eBay!
I thought this would be a great unit to have in my own personal office space, for those times when the larger office pot was out or early in the morning before the regular coffee was made. I hate it.
Not only is it cheaply made, making a single cup of coffee using a standard short mug, results in coffee splashing all around the unit. It actually takes me more time to clean up after making a cup, than it takes to make a regular pot of coffee using filters and coffee packs.

Terrible Taste, Messy, and Cheap
Created: 03/10/06
This single serving coffee maker is poorly made and over priced! Structure is cheap and ackward. It uses "pods" and produces a coffee that is weak and artificial tasting (even worse than instant coffee). When you brew a single serving into a coffee mug it makes the biggest mess, splashing coffee all over the appliance, your mug, and the counter. The coffee maker is also over sized and impossible to fit into cupboards (since it's too hideous to have out on the counter and you don't want to use it anyway). You're better off going for one of the mini carafe coffee makers or one that can brew a few cups at a time. Whatever you do... don't get this one!

one cup coffee maker

I purchased the one cup coffee maker because I only drink one cup in the morning. I would recommend the coffee maker. It is very easy to use and clean. The only thing I dont like about it is I had a hard time finding a regular coffee cup which would not over flow. I would highly recommend getting a travel mug instead of a coffee cup. I am very pleased with the purchase!!

Single Cup coffee maker
Created: 08/10/06
This was recommended to me by my sister.Unit 6akes up more space than I thought for a single cup coffee maker. Coffee is lukewarm at best after brewing and tastes nothing like a Good Cup of coffee. Tried exotic pods and the taste was even worse. Do not recommend for the price.
