My Chemical Romance: Gerard Way (vocals); Frank Iero, Ray Toro (guitar); Michael Waye (bass guitar); Bob Bryar (drums).Personnel: Matt Cortez (acoustic guitar); James Dewees (keyboards, percussion).Recorded in front of 20,000 fans in Mexico City during the fall of 2007, this My Chemical Romance concert album features the adventurous, goth-leaning post-hardcore band performing for the final time as the dark-clad ensemble from 2006's heralded opus, THE BLACK PARADE. With pomp and circumstance befitting the occasion, vocalist Gerard Way leads the group through the entire record, including the sweeping "Welcome to the Black Parade" and the melancholy "Cancer." The DVD presents the massive Mexico City show, along with an intimate New Jersey club gig, revealing MCR in two drastically different settings.

Hey universe I'm so in love with MCR!! They get better everyday! These concerts showed so much personality and FANTASTIC talent that I'm still in a trance! They mesmerize audiences everywhere and hypnotize all of their fans!!
Everyone of them has so much enthralling charisma that their shows and music stay printed indelibly on the brain (but in a wonderful way-fond memories).
Gerard Way, is a beautiful man with such an excellent voice. He has a unique sense of humour and he is very playful. I'm spellbound by his presence. He is a fascinating performer and he leaves me breathless. Mikey Way has an angelic presence. A tall bass player, he glides over the stage so beautifully. He truely has a gift that definitely comes thru on this masterpiece cd/dvd
package. Frank Iero is beyond gorgeous and he plays his heart out always!!
He will be remembered as one of rock music's guitar greats. And Ray Toro is so talented and incredible that listeners will be impressed at the marriage of all the different styles and sounds these tremendous artists create. God is blessing these men with such Heavenly sounds. And Thank Heaven for Bob Bryar!
Words can never express the skill this drummer shows! What a sense of rhythm!!
In addition, Matt Cortez and James Dewess made a marvelous addition to this
cd/dvd and I pray that they stay!!! I can only sum this up by saying that I love this package and anytime I can watch this band I will!!!!

amazing concert by great band

I bought this cd/dvd for two reasons. One for a christmas gift for my cousin, and two because this is a great band and I love the music they make. Each album they is almost like an opera. I would say they are a modern day punk version of Queen. This paritcular live version of their album is awesome, their final concert of the black parade in Mexico City was amazing and the added theatrics, they seem almost like a second Queen. Then there's the performance in the club in NJ, which shows them in a completely different setting still pumping out the same spectrum of music that their known for.

This is a great deal. The DVD has two live shows. One is in a large stadium in Mexico and the other is in a small club in New Jersey. It also comes with a CD of the complete Mexico show. Both shows sound great and this is a must buy.

if i get hot just by merely watching a performer on stage, it means they are doing their jobs right. well i was watching gerard, and let me tell you, a fire was lit under me.

this is what i love about MCR: they are good people and it clearly shows. but they also know how to give the audience a good time. i love it when gerard talks to the audience. it truly maximizes the concert experience.

This is an awesome cd, with every track deserving the highest ratings. MCR is a band that is true to rock and fans, if you get this version with a DVD seeing them live in concert. They rock out completely and I look forward to their next release. Buy this!
