Movie synopsis

A ramped-up techno soundtrack bleats out adrenaline-pumping action tunes while leather-clad vampire slayers smash through walls and floors and ceilings, break windows with their bodies, and occasionally defy gravity. Cascades of flying glass sparkle in the air and crimson pools of blood shine on the floors of warehouse dens where the hungry creatures hide. This is BLADE: TRINITY, the third installment of the film series adapted from Marvel comics. Here, a new challenge faces the preternaturally sharp hunter, Blade (Wesley Snipes), when a group of vamps resurrect the long-slumbering "Drake" (Dominic Purcell)--the ancient and all-powerful Count Dracula--and Blade meets the ultimate opponent. Teaming up with the Nightstalkers, a group of similar-minded hunters led by tough slayer-hottie Abigail (Jessica Biel) and her joke-a-minute partner Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds), Blade is ready for battle. However, Drake's handlers are an unruly bunch themselves, with sassy goth wench Danica (Parker Posey in a wonderfully exaggerated performance) doing her best to make things as unpleasant as possible. What's more, while Danica's vamp team is harvesting homeless people for their blood, the Nightstalkers' scientist creates a potion that can not only kill Drake but can take the entire bloodsucking race with him. And thus, David S. Goyer continues the BLADE cinema series, satisfying fans with plenty of the nocturnal monster mystique they so desperately crave.

Great Movie!

Created: 14/11/05
This action packed movie was wonderful! The story continues with Blade played by Wesley Snipes. Born half human and half vampire blade has a little of each world to handle. With one mistake he is chased after by the government who think he is a psycho killer. Added also is new villain Drake, the first of the vampire kind. This means backup is needed and we are introduced to the Nightstalkers. Abigail (played by Jessica Biel) and Hannibal (played by Ryan Reynolds) add a great touch to this movie! Abigail is a pretty girl with a killer attitude when it comes to vampires and Hannibal has a kick tush attitude with a hint of comedy. Special affects are great and the DVDs special features are awesome (I love the bloopers!). Added also with a great soundtrack, this movie is a must see!

Blade... Liked Character Better In the Comic Books...

Created: 22/04/07
Blade was a 1998 theatrical film starring Wesley Snipes and Stephen Dorff.

Blade was adopted from the Blade comic book series. The film was directed by Stephen Norringtan and written by David Gayer. Wesley Snipes played the title role of Blode, a half-man, half-vampire superhero vampire hunter who becames the protector of humans against the vampires.

The film spawned a sequel, Blade II, which was released in 2002. The last film of the Trilogy, Blade: Trinity, was released in December 2004.

I gave each one of these movies a chance but just could not get into the movie trilogy, altho I did like the character in the Tomb of Dracula comic book series!

Blade: Trinity (DVD, 2005, Unrated)

Big fan of the Blade series. I had to add the third film to my DVD collection. Blade: Trinity was not as good as the first two movies. However, the movie does have some action scenes even though the villian in this movie was subpar at best when compared to who Blade had to fight in Blade and Blade II. Jessica Biel being in this movie is a bonus as she has some nice action scenes. If you are a fan of the series this a good to add to your Blade movies.

Blade: Trinity DVD

Terrific special effects. The action looks like it's really happening; like when Blade destroys the vampires, they just disintegrate into a pile of burning ash. This is the third "Blade" movie and is a real winner, which is rare for Hollywood on a continuing story line. If you like vampire movies, on the order of Van Helsing, it's a must see. The only thing I didn't like about it, was the language. It's too strong to let my grandchildren watch. Even though it has a lot of violence, you have to remember that it's all make believe. It has a strong story line with lots of action.

I love Wesley Snipes planning Blade, I love the way he moves, and I also love the action in the movie, These vampire's don't have nothing on blade. With him showing up at the right time to slice them with his powerful sword. I have the Dvd as part of my collection, and plan on getting the first one to go with it.
