    Blazing Angels 2 review

    Created: 03/03/09
I really love this sort of game and I enjoy playing this game, however, unlike the Ace Combat series, this game hasn't figured out how important yaw control is to flying with finesse. Although the game is still fun, the fact that the yaw control is coupled with the throttle (different controls available, but none better than the Arcade) does not allow you to manipulate the throttle and yaw control simultaneously, the result is basically drunken flying, using bank and pitch controls to turn instead of fine tuning your bearing with the yaw control (as is done in real flying).

I've also experienced starting at checkpoints where I was immediately killed, this is especially frustrating since you then have to go re-fly previous tasks just to get back to where you were.

I'd like to re-state that I still have fun playing this game but you are much better off spending your money on the Ace Combat series, it rocks!

Good Game and worth for the price

    It's in a multi platform.
so for ps3 we don't have enough game in flight simulator or someking like that
in game have a lot of plane in world war 2 and have many weather and land that you
conquer in the game. Moreover it support high def for sound and graphic.

it's a perfect gift for my dad.
If you want some game that you can suspect for the worth of that price.
you can count this game one of them.

    Blazing Angels 2

It is a good game and worth getting. In comparison, Blazing angels one on the Wii platform is incredible, the best Wii game we own. Why B.A. 2 isn't offered on Wii is beyond me. Whoever makes the game is missing the boat and not concerned with customer satisfaction. We had been looking forward to the possibility of a B.A. 2 for wii but it hasn't happened so we settled for the current offering for PS2. I have played it a bit and it is a worthwhile game. It just doesn't complare to BA1/wii. If you have a Wii, try BA1, you'll love it!!!! If it was on Wii, I bet I would be rating this as Excellent.

    wait for the next simulator

playstation should have developed a better flight simulator by now. also the plot in this game is an embarrassing misrepresentation of the facts of WW2 they should be ashamed of how they talk about this war. We faught the Nazi's not the Germans, most German people were pleasantly sucking up the propaganda. For the record, the Germans are our ally now and we shouldn't screw up this partnership with a crappy game.
the game is slow to get started, the controls cannot be reconfigured in the way I would like. the missions are frustrating with stupid objectives. the targeting system and weapons are substandard, would make more sense for playstation 1, not 3.
This game is playable, but i wouldn't want my friends to see me playing it.
